The National Union of Jurists of Cuba (UNJC), in Granma, was recognized with the Most Outstanding Province category during the event for the Day of the Cuban Jurist, held this Saturday at the Popular Provincial Court.
Likewise, on its 47th anniversary, the organization received recognition from the Cuban Workers’ Union in Granma, and from the provincial Union of Public Administration, as well as from the Electoral Council in the province for the preparation and contributions of the jurists in the frameworks. regulatory provisions of the Constitution of the Republic and the Family Code.
Yenisey González Rodríguez, provincial president of the UNJC and member of the National Board of Directors, highlighted that the result achieved is the result of the attention and improvement of young people and students in the sector, and the legal and advisory legal advice of advisors and consultants.
In this sense, Yarima Susel Peña Cedeño, from the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office, was honored at the national level for the work carried out by the UNJC; Iván Alexander Barón Fernández, from the Bufete Colectivo grassroots delegation, Bayamo; Fernando Álvarez Verdecía, from the municipality of Media Luna and Ernesto Carballoza Salermo, from the base delegation of the University of Granma (UDG), who also turned out to be one of the three best jurists in the country.
For its part, the national award to the Joven José Galcerán jurist from Vall Vera was awarded to Diannelis Rosada Castellanos, president of the UDG base delegation, while from the same university center, Leaned Matos Hidalgo was recognized, who obtained a mention in the article category, in the Cuban Society of Procedural Law contest.
The Popular Provincial Court, Criminal Proceedings and the Comptroller General of the Republic, in Granma were also recognized, as were the base delegations of the Provincial and Municipal Prosecutor’s Office of Manzanillo, Bufetes Colectivos Bayamo, and the UDG, among the municipalities with the best results. They were Niquero Media Luna, Buey Arriba and Cauto Cristo.
Eddie Galán Jiménez, member of the Provincial Bureau of the Party, at the closing of the event highlighted the value of Granma jurists as guarantors of social justice, who together with the Ministry of the Interior and the revolutionary Armed Forces, constitute faithful guardians of socialist legality.
Also present were Yaima Ramírez Pérez, Provincial Secretary of the Public Administration Union in Granma and other directors of the province’s legal system.
