Good Rioja participation in the San Juan National
The action culminated in the “Vicente Alejo” Velodrome, where this important national figure skating event took place. The contest is organized and supervised by the Argentine Skating Confederation, with a large participation of skaters from Rioja.
Milagros Herrera Oliva, from the Victoria School, stood out by obtaining a place on the podium in her category: B First Cadet, in the Free specialty. Milagros finished second and added great experience, in addition to garnering many applause.
Meanwhile, Victoria Olguin (DARD) placed seventh in the B Second Infant category, in the School specialty.
Alma Naiara Bazán from the San Román school finished in 11th place in the B Third Infant category, in the School specialty.
Likewise, two other athletes from our province took to the track. Araceli Casas from the Patquia School, competed in the B Tercera Junior category, Free category and qualified in eleventh place.
The other was Renata Pereyra from SOEVP, who finished ninth in the B Second category for the School specialty and in 35th place, for the Free specialty in the B Promo Cadet category.
In this way, the Rioja representation continues to exhibit its great conditions on the slopes throughout the country, where great exponents from the different provinces starred in this important event.
