The company offers 4,800 seats to fly to Mallorca and Gran Canaria

On July 4, the remodeling of the airport will begin with the connection to Mallorca while the links with the Canary Islands begin on July 23.

Air Nostrum will move up to 4,800 passengers this summer at the remodeled Córdoba airport. The company will be the first to make commercial flights from the Andalusian aerodrome after its renovation, since its first connection will be next Thursday, July 4 on the route with Mallorca. That first flight will arrive in Córdoba from Son Sant Joan at 3:30 p.m. and will return to the Balearic Islands at 4 p.m. after a 30-minute stopover.

Air Nostrum believes that ticket sales on these two pioneering routes “are going at a good pace and we hope that in recent weeks it will increase with more immediate sales.”

In total, 3,600 seats have been put up for sale on www.iberia.com and in the different sales channels and travel agencies on the route that will connect Córdoba with Mallorca and 1,200 on the one that will link with Gran Canaria between July 23 and on August 27. The company considers that demand “is going at a good pace” and awaits “the final push with last-minute sales.”

To connect the capital of Cordoba with Mallorca, a total of 36 flights have been put into service with two weekly frequencies (Thursdays and Sundays). They will take place from July 4 to September 1. The flights on Thursdays, July 4, 11 and 18 will have the inaugural flight schedule, but from July 25 to August 29, midweek connections will leave Mallorca at 11:15 a.m. and return from Córdoba at 1:15 p.m. .

Sunday operations will be uniform throughout the eight weeks, departing from Mallorca at 8:00 a.m. and the flight will depart from the Andalusian airport at 10:00 a.m., arriving in Mallorca at 11:15 a.m.

In addition to operations with Mallorca, Air Nostrum will also operate a route with Gran Canaria in the high summer season. The first flight from Gando airport to Córdoba will be on Tuesday, July 23, departing at 3:35 p.m. and arriving at the Córdoba airport at 6:55 p.m. The return to the Canary Islands will be at 7:30 p.m. with arrival at 8:55 p.m. This operation will be available every Tuesday between the aforementioned July 23 and August 27, with a total of 12 flights linking Córdoba with Gran Canaria.

Thus, Air Nostrum’s operation to inaugurate the Córdoba airport has 48 flights that will be carried out with the CRJ1000 aircraft with a capacity for 100 passengers. The airport is located 10 kilometers from the city and is connected to the capital with buses and taxis.
