In line with its growth objectives, the company carried out expansions in its local plant and improvements in its outlet store located in the province.



The company PUMA, which recently launched its “Forever Faster” campaign “See The Game Like We Do”, carried out an expansion in its factory in La Rioja, adding 5,700 M2 to its main production warehouse, thus doubling the useful space. The work, which began in February 2023, made it possible to improve the operating conditions of the deposit and thus gain market share in Argentina. The information was provided by the company’s communication area, stating that “thanks to this new space, the company managed to unify the storage of components, supplies and materials, concentrating availability in a space close to the customer. At the same time, it collaborates with its work methodology, thus promoting better conditions for its collaborators and for the logistics operation in a safe environment.”

In addition, the company reopened its Outlet located on Route 5, km 4.5, with the aim of reinforcing its positioning as the fastest sports brand in the world. The store has 390m2, increasing the space in the warehouse, an office for the store manager and a living room for employees. In this way, the aim is to give more comfort space to the operation and a comfortable place for the team to rest. “We are very proud of the inauguration of the new warehouse space in our factory as it will help us generate better flow of our operations, as well as increase production capacity. This milestone once again reinforces our idea of ​​continuing to focus on production and development in the country; As well as with the reopening of the store, we reinforce our investment and maximization plan in the retail sector,” commented Mariana Spector, Retail Director PUMA Argentina.

PUMA has been present in Argentina since 1979 and has a production factory, located in the province of La Rioja. A wide range of sports shoes for both adults and children is produced there, satisfying the needs of the local market. Thanks to investments in recent years in new production lines, PUMA Argentina has experienced constant growth, going from a production capacity of 1.4 million pairs in 2020 to 3.5 million pairs at the end of 2023.

The German company today has 13 full price stores, 8 outlets and an online store in the country. The reopenings of stores that will take place throughout the year are part of the investment plan that the brand has been developing in the country.
