The management of the entity, dedicated to scientific research, explained to the Mozambican delegation its main products and projects, as well as the results of the application on patients on the island, national television reported.

Dr. Yassel Ramos, deputy director of the Center, and his specialists reported that more than 30 pharmaceutical companies and 80 production lines, with around 20 thousand workers, contribute to exporting to more than 40 countries.

The Mozambican delegation previously toured the Mariel special development zone, located in a privileged region for maritime trade.

Its director of control and inspection, Ramón Daniel Galindo, explained details of the emergence more than 10 years ago, as part of the updating of the Cuban economic model.

The president of the Assembly of Mozambique and her delegation also visited this day the Fidel Castro Center, dedicated to the study and dissemination of the life, work and thought of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution.
