The National University of Comahue held two days of elections this Monday, June 10 and Tuesday, June 11. On this occasion, students, non-teachers, graduates and graduates voted to elect their representatives in the Superior Council and in each of the governing councils through the single ticket system.
Finally, the use of the Single Paper Ballot (BUP-UNCo) was launched which facilitated the elections by bringing together the entire electoral offer on a single piece of paper so that voters could mark the chosen option.
After two intense days, the first results were showing themselves ahead of the possible winners. Although the total number of tables has yet to be counted, so far 22 tables have been confirmed.

Regarding the faculty of graduates, their votes for the Superior Council positioned With 55% of the votes the list is headed by Convergence of Graduated People.
In the non-teaching faculty, The votes were mostly directed to the list headed by Reunco + Independientes. It is positioned at the front with 27.7% of the votes counted so far.
It is worth remembering that The Superior Council makes decisions at the University level on different issues regarding the educational community. Among some of his functions, he has access to the regulations of the study regime, approves or disapproves the study plans, defines the conditions of admissibility and the rules for revalidating titles. Also grants the title of honorary doctor to people who are outstanding in their studies or research work and to management officials; approves the annual budget of outstanding students in their studies or research work; designates the universities; and proposes to the University Assembly the creation, suppression or unification of Faculties, among other tasks.
