They dismantle a narcocriminal gang that operated in Misiones, Corrientes and Buenos Aires

In this context, and through the intervention of the Federal Court No. 2 of Corrientes, headed by Dr. Vallejos, and the Criminal Secretariat No. 1, it was possible to identify the actions of a transnational narco-criminal organization, dedicated mainly to drug trafficking, as well as money laundering, currency trafficking and the sale of weapons of war. The members of the criminal gang were distributed in Bolivia (the place from where the narcotics came), Paraguay, Argentina and Uruguay (from where they were transported to the European continent).

During the period covered by the investigation, and with the constant accompaniment throughout the process of the Ministry of Security, it was possible to intercept four vehicles with more than 180 kg of “cocaine hydrochloride” in total, a substance that was conditioned under the modality of a double bottom.

Likewise, officials identified those involved as the main protagonists, who were established in the provinces of Misiones, Corrientes, Entre Ríos, Tucumán and Buenos Aires. They did not register formal jobs or commercial activities that could justify the lifestyle they had and the goods they acquired.
