During the early hours of Wednesday morning, police personnel rescued a 40-year-old woman who was in a semi-conscious state after being trapped in a fire inside her home.
It happened after 3:20 in the morning in a house located on Martín Cartechini Street at 700 in the Ampliación Altamira neighborhood.
After receiving a call for help, personnel from the Córdoba Police arrived at the location, who managed to rescue the woman from inside the house, after her bedroom caught fire on the upper floor of the building.
Minutes later, members of the Fire Department arrived and managed to extinguish the fire by using appropriate techniques and material, confirming material damage in an upstairs bedroom.
For her part, the affected woman was treated by personnel from the municipal emergency service 107 who arrived at the scene and after determining that she was suffering from carbon monoxide inhalation poisoning, she was transferred by ambulance to the Emergency Hospital where she was assisted.
