After getting loose with intensity in the southern regions since the beginning of the week, the rain will return to the Metropolitan region this Thursday June 11extending until the next day and leaving a large amount of water.
Precisely as a result of the above, the National Disaster Prevention and Response Service (SENAPRED) decreed and updated a preventive early warning for MRI.

The latter raises a series of warnings that account for Moderate to heavy rainfall in the coastal mountain range, valley and foothills. But also moderate snowfall to forts in the mountain range, among other alerts.
The above would have been defined based on information from Chilean Meteorological Directorate (DMC) and in some cases it would last until next Saturday, June 15.
And the climate event has aroused interest because it is already postulated as one of the most significant in recent decades. Basically, a storm with a lot of water in a short time.
How many millimeters of rain will fall in the Metropolitan region and how much snow?
Through an agrometeorological warning updated on Tuesday afternoon, the DMC indicated the amounts of precipitation that are expected in the Metropolitan area.
Thus, during the bulk of the event on Thursday, the valley would receive between 20 and 39 millimeters of precipitationalthough during Friday the measurement would go between 40 and 50mm.
While the snow would be present in the mountain rangeposing between 20 and 40 centimeters on the first day and between 100 and 120 in the second.
But be careful, because Saturday would also have solid precipitation that could reach 15 centimeters.
