The women’s team unfortunately completed its cycle in the League. In part we spent money because the company that was going to sponsor defaulted.

We are going to invest in what we can, but we will build a competitive team.

Are there players who have requested to leave the club due to pressure and threats from a sector of the fans?

I cannot certify it. We will meet in Bogotá with the board of directors. I don’t know about threats. We take stock of everything and we will look at the possibility of those who continue. If it is a priority, we will do everything possible to make them stay, but if there are personal issues, we can’t do anything. We won’t have anyone who feels uneasy.

The boys train and they can’t go out because they are insulted or they are afraid of an attack… it is difficult. We are facing everything. Let’s analyze the cases.

There is suspicion that José Augusto Cadena, due to this conflict, citing the security conditions, lack of support and the situations that have arisen, will make the decision to take the team to another place: what has been thought about that?

Cadena is the first interested in the team being in the A and he is the most interested in it staying in Cúcuta, no one wants to remove him from Cúcuta, we have one of the best fans, we have invested in the headquarters… it would be illogical to invest so much money and take the equipment.

The stadium is not Cúcuta’s; The Government of Norte de Santander, the Mayor’s Office and IMRD are the ones that manage it. If they say that every time there is a game there is someone injured, don’t share the fans, and if they tell us that they can’t lend us the stadium, what can we do? Here there is no other scenario that can supply what is required. We will have to go there, but I hope not.

Precisely, how is the relationship with the entities? The Government recently gave them a resource and the Mayor’s Office has supported them

Supremely good. The governor (William Villamizar) supported us, the Mayor’s Office is also still standing, it has been willing to support and has done so on the issue of the stage.

We understand the boys’ annoyance, everyone has the right to protest, but peacefully. Nobody from Cúcuta thinks about taking the team, we are going to continue there.

I have spoken with the staff about everything they have against me, I am going with them to the death. I trust that this will not happen again (fan-team conflict).

With the sector of the fans that the conflict has arisen, have you thought about talking to prevent more conflicts from occurring?

We are willing to dialogue, we have held meetings with some people and bar leaders. I know that we are subject to a sporting result, but it is not easy.
