The Regional Prosecutor’s Office confirmed the death of a first victim as a result of the storm that has affected the Maule area, since this Wednesday.
According to official data, this is the driver of a tractor who lost his life on a farm in the sector. Palmilla de Linareswhen the victim was helping to remove a tree that fell on the power lines and whose pole gave way, falling on the unfortunate man.
The flagrante delicto prosecutor’s office ordered immediate investigative proceedings to the Homicide Brigade, to reliably clarify the dynamics of the events and rule out the participation of third parties in this accidental death.
The identity of the tractor driver who died inside the El Peumo de Palmilla Farm in Linares was not released by the police authorities.
