The general secretary of the University Teaching Guild, Juan Manuel March, told El Ancasti that compliance was practically total in Catamarca and quite high in all provinces. “We observed a historic compliance strike like the previous one, practically without activity, almost zero,” he stated.

The general secretary of the University Teaching Guild was upset by the “lack of understanding on the part of the students’ parents” and reminded “these parents who consider us enemies of education, that education is a right and not an essential service.
