As usual, the excellence of companies and executives in the community is recognized by the La Rioja Marketing Club. The winners of the 43rd edition of the Mercurio Awards have been announced this Thursday, June 13, although the official presentation will take place next Tuesday, the 18th.
The awards have six categories that are evaluated by a business jury and on this occasion they have distinguished Muebles Dica (Mercury Advanced Company Award), Elena Martínez Garnica (Management), Macarena Shoes (Marketing), Gasori (Innovation), Inrialsa (Responsibility Corporate Social) and Saturnino Berné (Business Life).
The family company Muebles Dica has won the Mercurio Advanced Company Award. Located in Rincón de Soto, the entity is building a new headquarters in the municipality. The Mercurio Management Award has gone to Elena Martínez Garnica, CEO of Martínez Somalo since 2011. Likewise, Macarena Shoes, belonging to Calzados Laro, has been awarded the Mercurio Marketing Award. A recognition of a brand “with a Mediterranean style, which gets different personalities to wear its espadrilles,” said Ricardo Moreno, member of the Marketing Club, during the press conference.
On the other hand, the Mercurio Innovation Award has been awarded to Gasori, a company specialized in the manufacture of goods for the lifting sector. He has received this award thanks to his project ‘Minimoductor’. The Corporate Social Responsibility Award has been awarded to Inrialsa, which has recently achieved the ‘Aenor Residuo 0’ certificate for its commitment to sustainability.
The last award announced, the Business Life Award, was won by Saturnino Berné, manager of Bercalsa packaging, a company he founded in 1984 with his wife María Jesús.
