The Minister of Finance and spokesperson for the Rioja Government, Alfonso Domínguez, announced today that the website of the Government of La Rioja will be reformed to make it more accessible “through semantic artificial intelligence”.

Domínguez wanted to close, today, the debate on a non-law proposal, presented by Vox, in which he asked to urge the Government of La Rioja to publish, as a matter of urgency, the information on the agenda and the agreements adopted in Government Council, in compliance with the Transparency Law.

The Vox deputy, Ángel Alda, has defended the initiative, ensuring that the Rioja Government “neither dialogues nor legislates” and is “the only one of the communities that does not publish the agreements in the Government Councils.”

After the debate, in which all groups have supported the initiative, including the PP, Domínguez wanted to challenge both Vox and the PSOE to “verify” how all the information is published on the Transparency Portal.

He told the socialist deputy Miguel González de Legarra that “so much information is published that ninety percent of the questions he asks are published.”

Also, he has related how “it is not true” that La Rioja is the only community that does not publish government councils, citing how Aragón only publishes “references”; and Cantabria, Asturias, Madrid and Catalonia “only press releases, like La Rioja.”

“In any case, don’t worry,” he told Alda, “through semantic artificial intelligence the website will be reformed to make it more accessible and you will see the agenda of the Government Council.”
