With the objective of guaranteeing the social right to education through student participation, in institutional spaces for discussion on topics of interest to students, La Rioja launched the Provincial Youth Parliament this Tuesday, which will take place in the Legislature of the province, with the participation of young people from the 18 departments.

The launch was led by Vice Governor Teresita Madera who assured: “The future is only viable if we discuss the present of our young people.

During the presentation of Parliament, the provincial authorities explained that they will be carried out two instances: The School Instance, where students will prepare proposals during the month and debate in their educational institutions to then be presented in a commission work. Subsequently, they will be proposed in the Parliamentary Instances, which will take place in the Chamber of Deputies of La Rioja between the month of June and November.

The Secretary of Educational Management, Zoraida Rodríguez, thanked Governor Ricardo Quintela and Vice Governor Teresita Madera, “for the political decision to continue working on the youth parliament in a year in which we have a great defunding of our educational programs.”

For her part, the Executive Director of the first Federation of Student Centers, Flores Paz Camila, expressed: “It seems essential to me to reflect that today we are present with the closeness of a Government and authorities that are committed to investing in these spaces in the “That young people exercise our rights and actively participate in our present, since thanks to these programs we are today, the present, we are the ones who have the power of change”

Along with the vice governor, the president of the Youth Commission, deputy Carla Aliendro, was present; provincial deputies; the educational secretaries, Zoraida Rodríguez from Management, Vanesa Navarro from Planning, Duilio Madera from Socio-educational Policies; the Secretary of Youth José Delgado; the director of the establishment Monica Estrada, teachers and students.

This Monday, the governor of the province, Ricardo Quintelamet with a group of young professionals who make up Generation for Developmenta Peronist political space that has a developmental and productivist profile. “The idea of ​​this meeting was to talk, evaluate the current situation, analyze the future of Peronism and the country; and, in particular, see how the federal character of Peronism can be strengthened”Quintela summarized after the meeting.

The first president of Rioja was enthusiastic about the meeting, which took place at the Casa de La Rioja. “These are young people and professionals in the field of Economics, Law and other branches, who want to work in the process of renewal of Peronism within the current national context, which is why they have been meeting with leaders and leaders of the space to learn about his vision”indicated the governor.
