After the Senate of the Nation generally approved the Base Law, including the Incentive Regime for Large Investments, the Minister of Mining of San Juan, Juan Pablo Perea, highlighted that this action will better place the province on the map of regions mining, giving it competitiveness before the world. In addition, he asserted that it will generate a large number of genuine jobs.
In dialogue with HUARPE DIARYPerea expressed: “It is a tool that will generate confidence, which is essential for investors who want to come to our province. “It also provides security, and that gives us competitiveness against other mining countries.”
In this sense, he asserted that the RIGI is of great importance for the country’s economy and for the reactivation of industrial activity. In turn, he highlighted that “this was the signal that many companies were waiting for to invest in the province,” while he stated that the RIGI will allow the development of new projects.
In addition, he predicted that the approval of the Regime will mean a great generation of jobs, which will give great growth to San Juan SMEs and will promote the development of local suppliers.
