“Our admissions committee accepted Ms. Asís to enroll at Thornton Academy. The admissions committee considered her academic record, teacher recommendations and grades, based on a virtual interview, and general English level as part of the application process. They also decided to grant her a merit scholarship based on her academic performance and superior English level,” the academy said, adding that “During her semester program at our school, Ms. Asís will continue her studies in English and other academic subjects, to prepare her for returning to her school.”
