May inflation was 4.2% and accumulated 71.9% in the first five months of 2024INDEC reported this Thursday. The monthly variation shows a slowdown of 4.6 points compared to April, when it had been 8.8%.

The two divisions that registered The smallest variations in May were Health (0.7%), due to decreases in prepaid medicine fees, and Housing, water, electricity and other fuels (2.5%)..

The Consumer Price Index in Mendoza reached 4.4% in May. In five months of this year, the accumulated inflation it’s already 64%while the interannual price difference reached 270.5%. The items that increased the most were mainly Transportation and Communications, followed by Leisure and Education.
