Vanguardia learned that a 35-year-old civil engineer was the person who was injured in the hand after an attack with a firearm by unknown persons.
The details known to Vanguardia indicate that at 3:27 in the afternoon this Thursday, June 13, in a restaurant located in Cañaveral, armed men on a motorcycle arrived and shot a civil engineer.
The victim was identified as Rexon Elías Prada Carrillo, 35 years old. He has a single gunshot wound to his right hand.
The professional told the members of the Sijin, who were in charge of the inspection of the scene, that he was on the second floor of the restaurant waiting for a former partner with whom he had to settle a contract debt.

“While in the establishment, a male person arrived who, without saying a word, drew a firearm, went up to the second floor and fired it repeatedly against the victim. Once he committed the act, the aggressor fled with unknown direction aboard a motorcycle that was waiting for him outside the restaurant,” the Police said in the report.
Only one of the projectiles hit him in his humanity, in his right hand. Injured, the civil engineer was taken in a vehicle to the facilities of the La Foscal clinic.
Major Diego Fernando Celis, commander of the Floridablanca Police Station, indicated that the injury suffered by the citizen was not serious and he has already been discharged.
“We cordoned off the site and collected evidence such as a security camera where you can see the subjects who committed the act, they fled on a motorcycle,” said the officer.
The causes of this attack that occurred on the afternoon of this Thursday, June 13 in a restaurant in Cañaveral are being investigated.
