To achieve a digital transformation in health, Roche together with Fundación Garrahan presented the projects implemented in three provinces: San Juan, Salta and Buenos Aires. In the case of the province, “Originator +” was carried out at the Marcial Quiroga Hospital.

Retinar, Quirófano+ and Metapué were the projects selected from the second edition of Transformar Salud, an initiative promoted by Fundación Garrahan and Roche Argentina to promote digital transformation, innovation in processes and the sustainability of the health system. During the closing event, the teams presented the results and learnings after seven months of developing their solutions.

In San Juan, the professionals at Hospital Marcial Quiroga sought to optimize all instances of the surgical process to achieve a better patient experience, thus “Quirófano +” was born. “A technological solution focused on people allows us to streamline the interdisciplinary work of health professionals to optimize operating room, hospitalization and hospital resources times. In addition, it focuses on the quality of care for surgical patients, providing better access to information, communication and support,” said Javier Pereyra, from the hospital’s IT Division.

Focused on digital support and early diagnosis, the projects in Florencio Varela, Buenos Aires, Rivadavia and the city of Salta received mentoring and financial support to begin their implementation.

Throughout the program, each team participated in workshops and personalized advice focused on legal, communication and impact, financial and development issues. In turn, the projects were accompanied by a focus on the long term and the possibility of being replicated by other health centers.
