The Attorney General’s Office prosecuted six alleged members of the criminal group ‘Los Brothers’, an illegal network that would be dedicated to selling brownies, cookies and cakes, among other products, contaminated with marijuana. They would also be involved in the manufacture of synthetic drugs such as 2CB and Rosín.

These are Jonathan Yesid Puentes, Nicolás Macías Beltrán, Axel Rene López, Luis Alberto Rueda, Manuel Andrés Donado and Salomón Acuña who, apparently, offered the groceries through social networks and distributed them at home in locations in Bucaramanga and its metropolitan area. . In many cases the substances would be delivered to minors.

The members of the illegal organization apparently used public transportation vehicles to evade the control of the authorities.

During search and seizure procedures, narcotics such as cocaine, coca base and marijuana were seized; in addition to cash, ammunition, cell phones, elements to manufacture and dose illicit substances.

The investigation made it possible to establish the illicit income that yielded profits for the organization that would exceed three million pesos per day.

The defendants were accused of being possibly responsible for the crime of trafficking, manufacturing and carrying narcotics, a charge that none of them accepted. A guarantee control judge imposed a security measure on them in a prison facility, reported the Attorney General’s Office.
