The Institute of Literature – IndeL – and the Literature Area of ​​the Teaching and Bachelor of Arts careers of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the UNJu called on the entire student community of said House of Studies to participate in the Design Contest of graphic piece that will reward the design most appropriate to the purposes of the aforementioned institute, and that will be formed as its graphic image.

Through this initiative, we seek to encourage students from the different FHyCS courses to put their creativity and skills in design and inventiveness into play, at the same time that they can learn about the creation and performance of the recently approved Institute of Literature. .

Goals

  • Design a brand (can be: logo, isotype or isologo)that expresses and condenses the identity of the Institute of Literature of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences – UNJu.
  • Promote a participatory attitude in FHyCS students through creativity and the use of different competencies and skills in the design of a piece of graphic identity.
  • Award the winning design which will become the official graphic image of the Institute of Literature and which will be used in dissemination campaigns and through the website, social networks, banners and all official documentation in which it intervenes.

From the participants:

  • Participants must be students of the FHyCS – UNJu
  • Participation may be individual or in pairs.
  • To make participation effective, the respective REGISTRATION FORM must be filled out.
  • Attach the created design to the Registration Form.

Design

  1. The design to be presented must be original and unpublished.
  2. The proposed graphic piece must be consistent with the spirit and identity of the Literary Institute, taking into account the purposes and foundation detailed below, which will provide the necessary information for the creative process.
  3. The design will be sent in JPG format. Size of 500 x 500 pixels or 400 x 600 pixels. If the proposal is chosen, the participant must send the source code in which it was created (Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel, etc.).
  4. Work done freehand is also accepted. In this case, the proposal must be scanned and presented in JPG format. If it is the winner, IndeL will be in charge of redesigning it in digital format.
  5. Additionally, they must write a brief “descriptive memory“, that is, a brief text in which they describe the creative process, the decisions that led them to create that proposal, what elements they took into account for the design, etc. A space is provided on the Registration Form for this report.
  6. He design It must be sent as an attachment to the Registration Form.

Prize

  • The prize will consist of an amount of cash, which will be delivered at the time of the award ceremony.
  • The selection of the winning design will be announced on the day Thursday July 11 and the responsible student(s) will be notified through the personal email indicated in the registration form, and it will also be published on the social networks of the FHyCS and the Literature Area.

Submission deadline

  • They will have a deadline to REGISTER and send the design until Friday, July 5, 2024.

Intellectual rights

Participation presupposes that the participant(s) own the copyright of the contribution, exempting the Institute of Literature of the FHyCS-UNJu from any conflict of publication or use (right to third parties).

The student/s responsible for the design whoever is elected will transfer the copyright of his/her work to the FHyCS-UNJu Literature Institute for an indefinite period, waiving any type of compensation, compensation or payment for the transfer of those rights.

Research institutes are entities dedicated to promoting and carrying out disciplinary, interdisciplinary or specialization research activities in different fields of science, technology, humanities and the arts, and which can also provide scientific and technical advice in the area of ​​its competence.

The Institute of Literature (InDeL) is the realization of a long-desired project to shelter, promote and create academic spaces that bring together the activities of our area of ​​Literature. Like all new companies, it has to carve out a place for itself, which is not only physical but also emotional. A construction space of and for all who want to join.

The area of ​​Literature and our Letters degree deserved to have this academic space, which is already IS and is beginning to work.

The creation of the Institute of Literary Studies (InDeL) will be aimed at fulfilling the following general purposes:

  1. Contribute to the scientific, technological and humanistic development of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, cultural training and institutions, and social groups or organizations in the province and region.
  1. Develop and strengthen literary research, generating and guaranteeing the appropriate conditions to materialize research in the specific area.
  1. Promote the training of human resources in literary research, at the undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate levels.
  1. Propose and develop lines of research, programs, projects, academic networks and agreements.
  1. Promote the dissemination and transfer of the results of the literary research carried out.
  1. Address the social and cultural demands of the province, the region and the country, in terms of literary knowledge of academic-scientific production.
