This is precisely what gives more value to Together We Are Río Negro, which came to this province with a single conviction: to defend the interests of the people of Rio Negro, without commitments to any of the national parties that, when they have had to be in power, they have built little to get this country out of its eternal state of crisis.
Neither official nor opposition. That we are. We are a party of dialogue that in the National Congress will support the laws that it believes are convenient for its province and will vote against those that are harmful. It’s that simple, without further ado.
Senator Mónica Silva’s vote in the debate on the Base Law demonstrates that conviction. She supported the rule in general, but voted against it in particular on those articles that directly affected our neighbors.
The rejection of the imposition of the fourth category of the Income Tax, the end of the retirement moratorium, the privatization of Airlines and the Argentine Post Office are some of the examples of that defense of the people of Rio Negro carried out by Mónica Silva.
We are not coup plotters, quite the opposite. We know that we must give the National Government the tools to maintain institutionality, but with limits. The future of our country and our province is much more important than political pettiness.
In the figure of Senator Silva we have defended the salary of the people of Rio Negro, rejecting the reimposition of the Income Tax, because we consider that $1,800,000 is a very low floor taking into account Patagonian salaries.; We have voted in favor of the RIGI, which will allow us to promote large investments in our province; We have defended the Argentine Post Office so that all our towns and cities have that service; We have defended Aerolíneas Argentinas. In short, we have defended and will continue to defend our province.
