Having transportation and all the necessary logistics was what made it possible for folkloric and cultural delegations from the 30 municipalities of the department of Córdoba to participate in the two folklore parades, for adults and children, that were held within the framework of the National Fair of the Livestock farming that ends tomorrow, Sunday, June 16.

The Government of Córdoba, through its Ministry of Culture, made possible this folkloric display that enchanted the natives and visitors who this afternoon of Saturday, June 15, will once again gather in the streets and avenues of the city of Montería to observe the multicolor Parade of Floats.

That all the municipalities of Córdoba participated in the Fair was an initiative of Governor Erasmo Zuleta Bechara and social manager Valeria Vega, who seek to preserve and celebrate the cultural legacy of the department.

Some 1,800 adults and 1,200 children enjoyed themselves and at the same time delighted the people of Cordoba and tourists at the two stops made on the afternoon of Thursday and Friday.

“We are very happy to have achieved the participation of the municipalities that for the first time have this opportunity to participate in the events of the Livestock Fair. The adults made a wonderful presentation with the representative dances of each region and the children who are part of seedbeds in their municipalities shined in their Children’s Folk Parade,” said Heidy Torres, Secretary of Culture of Córdoba.
