Huracán defeated Independiente Rivadavia de Mendoza this Saturday 1-0 in one of the matches that marked the closing of the fifth date of the 2024 Professional Football League. Ignacio Pussetto, at 15 minutes, scored the only victory of the match played in the Tomás Ducó stadium, in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Parque de los Patricios.
Huracán started the match much better. He began to create danger in the goal defended by Gonzalo Marinelli, until at 15 minutes, after a cross from César Ibáñez, Ignacio Pussetto won with a header and crossed it to open the scoring.
As the minutes passed, the visit matched him, transforming Sebastián Meza into a figure before the break.
In the second half, the duel continued to be even, but at 21 minutes the controversy arose, Franco Petrasso was strong down low, Fernando Rapallini decided to send him off and, after the VAR call, he held the red card and left those led by Martín Cicotello with one less player.
