The Vallenato filmmaker Nina Marinwho recently won the Colibrí de Oro award with his film ‘Tierra Quebrá’, will rekindle the flame of cinema with three films that will be projected in Marines Filmsthe space created by the filmmaker in the company of Óscar Álvarez with the aim of continuing to popularize the Colombian seventh art.

That is why they are already promoting three films that will be screened in said movie theater next Saturday, June 15.

The first movie will be ‘Ríos de ash’, with a performance by Luisa Vides Galiano, from Chiriguaná, Cesar, from the 3 pm At 4:30 pm the movie will be shown ‘Stew’, with performances by Omeris Arrieta and Valeria Duarte. Finally, at 6:30 pm, the film ‘Those below’ with performance by Sonia Parada, Colombian actress.

Regarding the creation of Marines Films, its creators noted: “It has been a true feat to create this alternative movie theater in a city like Valledupar,” says Nina Marín, film director and screenwriter. “But that is the idea, that people watch Colombian films and know that films with a high level of production are being made in the country.”

Among the activities carried out in Marines Films The holding of scriptwriting, production and acting workshops for film and television stands out. This has allowed the room to become a meeting point for the Valledupar film community and a space for the development of local talent.
