Highway tolls in the province of Buenos Aires will increase between 157% and 137% in August. The rate increase, which must be approved by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Public Services in a public hearing on July 22, includes the tolls of the Buenos Aires-La Plata Highway and the Integrated Road System of the Atlanticwhich covers the routes 2, 11, 36, 56, 63 and 74.
The Buenos Aires Government advances in a new tariff update together with the concessionaire company Highways of Buenos Aires (Aubasa) “to present the technical, economic, financial and legal foundations of the proposal for rate adjustment and the quarterly update methodology”.
In this way, a new mechanism will be adopted for future updates, now implementing automatic quarterly increases based on a formula that takes into account the inflation of various indices reported by the Indec.
The public hearing will be carried out July 22 at the ministry’s headquarters in La Plata. At 10 a.m. the respective issues will be addressed. Buenos Aires-La Plata Highway and at 12 on the Atlantic Integrated Road Systemwhich among others includes Route 2 and Route 11. The increase will be applied once the process is completed administrative. That’s why It is estimated that they will come into force from August.

In the case of the Buenos Aires-La Plata Highway, the increase will be 157% and for the highways to the Atlantic Coast of the 137%. Following, the values for a light vehicle with two axes:

- Toll Dock Sud, Hudson, Gutiérrez and Villa Elisa: $1,300 and during rush hour $1,600
- Tolls Bernal, Quilmes and Berazategui: $900 and $1,200 rush hour
Sense of CABA
- Toll hudson: $2,600 and $3,200 rush hour
- Tolls Bernal, Quilmes and Berazategui: $2,200 and $2,800 rush hour
Direction to the Atlantic Coast
- Toll SamborombonMaipú and La Huella: $4,300
- Toll General Madariaga: $1,800
- Toll Mar Chiquita: $2,000
