A Violent fight occurred Saturday night at a street party in Santiago de Cubawhere several people were reportedly injured.
Independent journalist Yosmany Mayeta Labrada shared photos of the event on his Facebook profile.
“Violence continues in the streets of the city, apparently there is two young people with serious injurieswho were taken to the Joaquín Castillo Duany military hospital,” Mayeta said.
A source from the hospital informed him that one of the victims had to be taken to the operating room.
The other injured person possibly died.but this has not been confirmed.
The wounds were inflicted with a weapon. According to the reporter, one of the young men was left lying on the street bleeding, after receiving a stab wound in the back.
“The blood clot that can be seen on the road was where he was lying, until he was rescued at the nearest hospital,” he said.
Dozens of people lamented the incident, which has been happening too frequently in the city, and where its protagonists are usually very young.
