Cienfuegos.— The humorous television series Talking to the Dead, in a premiere version for the theater in Cuba, was presented this weekend at the centenary Tomás Terry Coliseum and turned out to be one of the most relevant events of the week, in the province of Al speaks with the dead,.

The show filled the emblematic theater of the territory in its two performances, last Friday and Saturday, starring the actors Ray Cruz, Yaremis Pérez and Claudia Zaldívar, under the reins of the scriptwriter Amílcar Salatti, reports the digital site of the newspaper 5 de Septiembre.

Salatti told the press that given the impossibility of recording another season of the series, for now, he decided on a theatrical piece to bring enjoyment to adults and children, especially to fans of the space on the small screen.

Yaremis Pérez, actress, said that “we are happy to choose Cienfuegos for this first presentation, taking into account that two of the characters –Indira and Miguelito- often reiterate in the sandwiches that they are from Potrerillo, in the Cienfuegos municipality of Crosses.

He commented that “we are nobody without the public, and it is very fulfilling when they greet us and call us in the street, or their faces light up when they see us.

Ray Cruz, who appeared on this stage with his monologue Fátima y el Parque de la Fraternidad, assured that “we had the responsibility to ensure that the characters of Indira and Miguelito did not disappear so quickly, and the public agreed with us, because the theater filled, even with children.

“Premiering the show in Cienfuegos has been a blessing, and now we will go to other Cuban provinces, with Fátima and Al speaking…; “This way people will be able to see me in two facets of acting, as they are very different characters,” said the versatile actor.

Also notable in this territory were the tribute actions dedicated to the anniversary of the birth of Antonio Maceo and Ernesto Che Guevara, and among these the statements of Carlos Torres Santana, owner of the largest collection of books about Che, in the province of Cienfuegos, with texts written by Ernesto Guevara de la Serna himself or the works of different authors about the Heroic Guerrilla.

Likewise, in these seven days, the online site of Radio Cumanayagua reported on the diversification of food offers in the local mini-industry.
