The most important asset that Armenia has is the pride that its inhabitants feel in the city, in the neighborhood they live in and in their housing, says the citizen perception survey carried out by the firm Ipsos Napoleón Franco between October 10 and October 13. November of last year.

Aspects related to the environment, debris management, security, unemployment and trust are critical points that must be worked on by the institutions and the community to improve the quality of life of the residents in this area of ​​the country, concludes the analysis of the perception that citizens living in Armenia have and that allows them to act in accordance with that vision.

The interviews with a structured questionnaire were applied to 752 people belonging to strata from 1 to 6 over 18 years of age and located in the central, northern and southern areas of the Quindian capital.

Although the inhabitants of Armenia feel very proud of their city, they are not participating in the activities that concern them, a situation that was described as very worrying by those attending the presentation of the Armenia Como Vamos survey, carried out at the Chamber of Commerce.

The study shows that citizens are not satisfied with the security conditions in Armenia, nor with the way public investments are made, they are unaware of the direction that State resources take in this city and do not see evidence of this in the capital of Quindío. public investment, they also ignore the management of the municipal council.

The state of parks in the neighborhoods, green areas and in general urban public spaces generates dissatisfaction among the inhabitants of the capital of Quindío, as does the delay in appointments for health care, environmental pollution and inadequate Debris management affects the well-being of those who reside in the city.
