The Secretary of Labor, Myriam Espinosa, referred this Tuesday to the situation faced by employees with a seniority between 15 and 35 years due to the closure of the Ivisa Lar firm located in the Rioja Industrial Park. Last week they closed the property after announcing the sad news.

Regarding the sad situation, Espinosa said “unfortunately, one more company in our province had to close its doors with these disastrous policies implemented by the National Government, which only looks at economic income regardless of who is affected throughout our country. , and it does not escape our Province.”

He indicated that Ivisa Lar, “a company in the graphic sector with a history of many years in this Province. There are workers with more than 30 years of seniority. Last Thursday they verbally informed him of its closure. We became aware through the Graphic Union. On Friday we formed the company because the workers, having a verbal dismissal, still show up on Friday. They could not enter due to the company’s decision, which is why we made the verification report. A proposal was made to them to pay the compensation item. We have set a Hearing for this Wednesday. On Friday, the last contact we had with the Union people, everything was verbal. It had to be stated that the workers had come on Friday to do their work, and that they had no formal communication.”

Espinosa said that “the company manager and his legal advisor or representative communicated the company’s decision to 9 workers who were serving in the company with the stated seniority, and that the decision was irrevocable.”
