The San José Institute Foundation of the Brothers of Saint John of God meets 125 years of existence (1899-2024). An anniversary that will be commemorated with an extensive program of activities to share this important date together with all those who have made these 125 years of history possible: institutions, associations, volunteers, patients, families, users, neighbors, collaborators…

They will start this Thursday, June 20th, founding day of the Center. At 17:30 hours there will be a Mass solemn ceremony that will be presided over by the cardinal Jose Cobo, archbishop of Madrid. At its end, at 18:30 hours, a brief institutional act which will feature the interventions of the cardinal Cobo; of Mercedes Navío Costa, care manager of Hospitals of the Community of Madrid; of the brother Ramon Martinsuperior of the Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu in St. Boi de Llobregat, who will talk about The origins of the hospital; of a member of the board; and of Jose Soto Bonelmanager of HFSJ, who will speak on The hospital today. Next, you will discover a commemorative plaque by the Brothers of San Juan de Dios of the hospital. The day will conclude with a brief festive meeting.

The next day, Friday twenty-onewill be held 125th anniversary party with an outdoor charity meal and various activities suitable for the whole family: charity market, music, magic, water games, storytelling, face painting, charity games, raffles, prize giving and many surprises.
