The province’s Ministry of Health participated in a meeting led by officials from the Nation’s health portfolio in order to advance the conditions for the implementation of the Digital Prescription in each province.
In this regard, the Secretary of Health Planning and Management, Daniela Ayala, explained that “during the meeting, the progress that the Nation had made regarding the technical guidelines was marked, including the records of provincial bases of health professionals, which are related to the SISA. In addition, the regulatory framework and registration of digital platforms was determined.”
Ayala clarified that a period of 180 days was determined for each jurisdiction to work on “all the conditions that must be met to make the use of the recipe effective in the province. Meanwhile, both modalities will coexist.”
As of July 1, it will begin to be implemented at the national level and “while work continues so that each jurisdiction can adjust to the digital recipe,” said the Secretary.
In the province, regulations must be worked on in a particular way, since there are different realities of accessibility and connectivity in inland towns.
The Secretary of Preventive Medicine and Health Promotion, Silvia Bustos, and the Secretary of Public Health Assistance, Johana Carrizo, also participated in the meeting.
