The justification explains that “the flag of Chubut, as a symbol of the province, was officially adopted on January 6, 2005 through the sanction of LAW V – No. 101 (Previously Law 5292). While in 2009 Law IN° 413 was sanctioned, which declares Flag Day of the Province of Chubut, on June 15 of each year, in commemoration of the date of sanction of National Law No. 14,408.
The law passed this Wednesday establishes the “Pledge of Loyalty to the Flag of the Province of Chubut” ceremony, created by Law VN° 101, which “will be in commemoration of the sanction of National Law N° 14,408 by which the Province of Chubut in 1955 and also Provincial Flag Day of Chubut. “It will be carried out on the business day provided in the single school calendar.”

It is stipulated that “the directors of public and private educational establishments in the Provincial Territory of Chubut will pledge their loyalty to the Provincial Flag. “It will be directed to fourth grade students and those from fifth to seventh grade who have not done so previously.”
