National Deputy Fernando Carbajal, belonging to the UCR Block, announced through his social networks the presentation of a lawsuit of unconstitutionality against the Motto Law.

In his publication, Carbajal reported that the notification has been sent to both Governor Gildo Insfrán and the State Prosecutor’s Office, and stated that they will reach the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (CSJN) to defend the will of the citizens of Formosa.

“We notified Insfrán and the State Prosecutor’s Office of the demand for unconstitutionality of the Motto Law. We know the local obedience, but we will go as far as the CSJN to defend the will of the people of Formosa,” he expressed.

The claim was registered under file number 32 F 46 of the year 2024, and is being processed before the Secretariat of Original Procedures of the Superior Court of Justice of the Province of Formosa.

In his statement, Carbajal highlights the importance of this judicial action as a crucial step to ensure respect for the popular will in Formosa, a province known for its intense political disputes and the strong influence of the local ruling party.
