Córdoba: The UEPC called for a 24-hour strike for June 25 – WRITING – Córdoba

The Provincial Assembly of the Union of Educators of the Province of Córdoba (UEPC), unanimously resolved to reject the salary proposal of the Government of Córdoba “as insufficient” and to carry out a 24-hour provincial strike for next Tuesday, June 25.

The teaching delegates resolved to carry out the following action plan:

– Hold informative and resolution assemblies by schools for one hour per shift on Thursday, June 27 and Friday, June 28 to determine the actions to follow.

– Hold a resolution assembly of school delegates on Monday, July 1 and an assembly of departmental delegates on Tuesday, July 2.

– If there is a new higher salary proposal, suspend the measures and activate the consultation mechanisms.

They also demand “a new, superior proposal that maintains the requirements raised by UEPC that were contemplated in the first proposal.”

In that sense, they demand that “the sums to recover salary loss become a greater recovery from the month of June; that the increases have as a floor 100% of the CPI, cumulative, over the previous month and that this criterion continues as a basis for the rest of the negotiations; the total elimination of the cap on the Teaching Status item, which had already been agreed for the month of June; the salary hierarchy of management and supervisory positions; the salary supplement for all managers with annexes or rooms in charge; and FONID compensation for UPC (Provincial University of Córdoba) teachers.”

They also demand “the payment of differentiated homework and the educational ticket for DAI, hospital and other programs, without restrictions; the updating of the FONID for retirees, and the payment of 82% of the FONID compensation item collected by the assets; the elevation of salary bands in the application of the extraordinary discount for the Retirement Fund established in law 10,724; the elimination of FOSAET; and the certification of PIT, PROA, Course Coordinators, Higher Level, Extended Day and Fifth Hour teachers.”

Finally, they propose “the elimination of the deferral of retired colleagues and compliance with the Bossio Ruling (82% mobile); the regularization of the operation of APROSS benefits throughout the province, not the collection of co-payments; and the modification of the reference for the application of art. 58 for double benefit, which is taken as a base reference the total value of the minimum retirement established at $230,000.”
