Four people died after a shocking collision between two vehicles that collided head-on in the Entre Ríos city of Concepción del Uruguay and the circumstances that triggered the tragic event are being investigated.

The episode took place this Thursday morning at kilometer 223 of Route 39, in the aforementioned Entre Ríos town where, for reasons that are being established, two cars collided head-on.

Rescue teams, local police, firefighters and medical personnel immediately went to the area of ​​the fatal accident.

From the media El Once they reported that the driver of one of the vehicles is a provincial official and that he was rushed to the Urquiza Hospital in critical condition.

The first versions highlight that it is Juan Ruiz Orrico, president of the Provincial Port Institute and was a candidate for mayor three times.

The deputy commissioner of the Departmental Police, Martín Tello, indicated that one of the cars was practically “unrecognizable.”
