A violent confrontation between residents of Colinas del Pando and the Santa Marta Metropolitan Police was recorded on video, which occurred during the capture of an alleged criminal involved in the recent assault on the Davivienda Bank in the Las Palmas shopping center.
According to police reports, two armed individuals arrived at the bank on a motorcycle, where they threatened the security guard, employees and clients, managing to steal four million pesos.
After the robbery, the assailants fled on a motorcycle. Captain Rodríguez informed Tracking.co that, after the padlock plan was activated, the criminals were pursued to the neighborhood mentioned above. There they abandoned the motorcycle and escaped towards wooded areas and hills. During the operation, the community threw stones and other objects at the police, however they managed to capture one of the suspects.
Today, Thursday, a video began to circulate on social networks where some women, apparently relatives of the detainee, are seen attacking Sijín agents, who respond to the attack. One of the women was injured in the forehead, as was one of the agents.
In the video, you can also see how the woman recording struggles with another agent, asking him to identify himself while making the capture. At the same time, units of the Metropolitan Police have the alleged criminal under arrest, while the community of Colinas del Pando surrounds the house of the person involved, which they had already defended minutes before by confronting the police to avoid his arrest.
