This Saturday the eighth stage of the Vuelta a Colombia 2024, same that went through a crucial moment and suffered a tumble in the general classification that is still led by Rodrigo Contreras (GW Erco Shimano), which already adds up to a total time of 30:54:41.
Among the new features, appears Javier Jamaica (Team Medellín) in fourth position, displacing Adrián Bustamante (GW Erco Shimano)who lost a lot of time, finished in eighth place and is now 5’49” behind the leader.
For its part, Yesid Pira (Mayor of Manizales-Huevos 100%), winner of this Saturday’s day, he managed to get into fifth place overall and was only 3’56” behind Contreras, so if he wants to reach a better position, he will have to have a great finish in the race this Sunday.

On June 23, there will be a 17.3 kilometer route. It will be an individual time trial that will start in Medellín and end in Alto de las Palmas, which is close to the town.
