A tragic traffic accident involved the bus of the group of the renowned vallenato singer Elder Dayán Díaz, son of the famous Diomedes Díaz. The incident occurred at the Los Haticos tollbooth, in San Juan del Cesar, La Guajira, while the vehicle was heading to the town of Paraguachón.
As could be seen in images, the bus was severely damaged, but fortunately, only the driver was on board and he suffered minor injuries. RCN reported that Neither Elder Dayán Díaz nor the members of his group were present in the vehicle at the time of the accident.

The authorities have launched an investigation to clarify the exact causes of the incident. So far, no additional details have been provided, although it is known that the toll was completely destroyed after the impact.

“Only the driver was traveling and he collided with a structure at the Río Seco toll plaza, in Cesar, that is the information we have for now,” said Major Camilo Andrés Rivera Parada, head of the Transit and Transportation Section of the Guajira Police.
“Good morning my people; Unfortunately, the bus in which ‘the machine’ is transported suffered an accident on the road from San Juan that leads to Valledupar, but the group was not on it… The driver suffered minor injuries but thank God he is fine!” singer through his X account.
