Entre Ríos allocated more than 25,000 million pesos to hospitals and health centers

The government reported the disbursement of more than 25 billion pesos in funds for hospitals, health centers and payment of guards and benefit modules.

Despite the economic context, which caused increases in the cost of energy, medication, fuel, food, among other factors, the Entre Ríos government reported that an important economic contribution was made to sustain the response capacity of the public health network’s effectors. .

In this framework, it was highlighted that, between December 11 and June 11, 19,504,674.915 pesos were sent to the 65 hospitals located throughout the province as operating items and reinforcements. The amount also includes item reinforcements sent to different hospitals to respond to court orders: the Province mentioned the case of an item exceeding 77 million pesos to cover the treatment of a patient who required high-cost medication at the San Juan hospital. In another line, they highlighted the allocation of operating items for 574,423,000 pesos, from January to May, to sustain the benefits of the 208 first level care establishments that depend on the province (Regional Reference Centers, Primary Care Centers of Health and Health Posts).

Likewise, also from January to May, transfers of 4,929,881,447 pesos were made for the payment of benefit modules and active and passive guards that the professionals of the Health Care Professional Career carried out in hospitals and health centers in the province.
