Alejandra Monteoliva will become the new Secretary of National Security. Monteoliva is a former Minister of Security of the government of the province of Córdoba, during the administration of the Governor Juan Schiaretti. She has experience in national management, since between 2015 and 2020 she held positions as National Director of Criminal Information Management, first, and as Director of Operations of the Federal Forces later.
The changes in the Security portfolio were confirmed in the last hours and Monteoliva will join the Bullrrich team, under the management of president Javier Milei. The former Córdoba official has a degree in International Relations and has a master’s degree in development planning and management, as well as experience in international organizations and in public service at all levels.
