Authorities have generated an alert in the city due to non-compliance of the regulations in several parking lots in the Quindian capital.

He Secretary of Government, Andrés Buitrago assured that in the midst of the verification work and monitoring of this type of establishments have shown the storage of carts with perishable foods which increases concern by the situation.

“We seek that all the people who provide parking services so that they really comply with the conditions, but also that they are not carrying out any other activities other than parking vehicles, that we We have found establishments that carry out warehouse work for us and that unfortunately are storing carts for us.”, he warned.

He assured that the parking lots are carrying out other different activities to the vehicle parking lot for that reason It called the attention of owners to comply with the corresponding measures.

He warned that The worrying thing is that the fruits that are sold on the streets of the city are not under the conditions of the cold chain and proper conservation because in these establishments they are exposed even animals like rodents.

He added: “They are storing other types of items for us and especially carts with perishable foods The fruit that people unfortunately buy on the street does not have that cold chain, they do not have the proper conservation and obviously storage and they are in parking lots where they can be exposed. to any type of animals from rodents to any type of situations that may generate insecurity or a risk to people.”

We have been intervening in these types of establishments, that is why we have been taking a tour in these sectors and obviously seeking to provide greater security and peace of mind. People do not have to store or activities other than those that are established and those that are authorized and we will continue to do this type of interventions.”

So far this year, 50 commercial establishments have already been sealed for non-compliance in different aspects.
