Today tribute will be paid to Carlos Gardel on the 89th anniversary of his death. The meeting will be at the Dino Saluzzi Cultural Center, Independencia 910, starting at 9:00 p.m.
The Municipality of Salta, through the Agencia Cultura Activa, invites the community to pay homage to Carlos Gardel.
The recognition will take place tonight starting at 9:00 p.m. at the Dino Saluzzi Cultural Center, at Av. Independencia 910, with free admission.
Today is National Singer’s Day. The date commemorates the death of Gardle, one of the most important figures in Argentine culture and symbol of tango in the world.
The renowned tango singer died on June 24, 1935, in Medellín, Colombia, when the plane he was traveling in crashed on a runway at the local airfield.
On the other hand, the presentation will feature performances by great tango singers such as Lito Navamuel, Alberto Argañaraz, German Luna and Gonzalo Gómez.
In addition, different academies in the city will offer their dance, making it an unmissable evening for lovers of tango and Argentine culture.
