A very important factor in achieving happiness is spending most of our time doing something we like and are passionate about, although not many people have that privilege. There are some types of jobs that make people unhappy, according to Harvard.

Some time ago, Harvard University conducted a study to find which jobs cause the most unhappiness and why this phenomenon occurs. The question was what makes these professions and trades so difficult to perform and why they are a source of unhappiness for those who dedicate themselves to it.

The research was led by Robert Waldingerprofessor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, and in his research he found that a characteristic of the jobs that produced the least satisfaction in those who perform them are those in which people have to spend long periods of time alone.

Dealers: This is because they often spend a large number of hours alone while working or waiting for an order to arrive. In addition, in the case of those who travel by motorcycle, their work is usually risky and they must often work in the rain or sun.

Long-distance truck drivers: As in the case of delivery drivers, truck drivers usually spend a lot of time alone, which can cause depression problems, but, in addition to this, they also spend many hours sitting, which usually causes health problems such as circulatory problems or muscular.

Security guard: Once again, loneliness becomes a factor in producing unhappiness at work. In this case, security guards are usually in secluded places where they do not coexist with others or have night shifts that are even lonelier.

Jobs with night hours: In addition to the obvious loneliness that comes with working at night, these people can also fall into states of depression because all their family and friends live at a different time and it is difficult to live together.

Customer Support: Although loneliness is not a factor in this job, since they actually live with many people, it is a negative coexistence, since the people they talk to are usually in a bad mood and are rude or arrogant.

Remote jobs such as freelancers or jobs in retail stores were also mentioned on the list, also due to difficult customer service.

The information on unhappiness at work was the result of a large study on happiness that lasted more than 85 years and that evaluated a total of 700 people to learn about their life habits.
