Dozens of students from Favarolo University arrived in Santiago del Estero

These are more than 30 students who completed their study curriculum, missing the Rural Compulsory Final Practice (PFO Rural) to obtain their degree.

The students were welcomed by the Secretary of Health, Dr. César Monti; the Interior Director, Dr. Graciela Alzogaray; the Operational Coordinatorlawyer Marisol Castano, together with the directors of hospitals in the interior of the province: from Loreto, Dr. Santiago Ábalos Mussi; from Frías, Dr. Darío Ocaranza; from Monte Quemado, Dr. José Gómez; from Añatuya, Dr. Hugo Avellaneda; from Los Telares, Dr. Pamela Serrano Nogalo; from Tintina, Dr. Carla Geréz; from Fernández, instructor Dr. Griggio and from Bandera Dr. Marta Arguello, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Health.

They are all medical students who have completed their entire study curriculum, lacking this Rural Compulsory Final Practice (PFO Rural) to obtain your bachelor’s degree.

The students were assigned to nine main hospitals: Frías, Loreto, Añatuya, Monte Quemado, Campo Gallo, Tintina, Fernández, Bandera and Los Telares, where they will carry out their practices with tutors and/or instructors assigned to the different Hospital Services and Health Posts. of their respective areas of influence. This rotation will last from today, June 24th until Friday, August 30th.

The Hospital system of the Province acts as Teaching Hospitals, receiving medical students from the Faculties of UNSE, UNT, UNC as well as Favarolo before their graduation as doctors.

In the respective cities, the Interior Directorate, through Dr. Graciela Alzogaray, signed a collaboration agreement with the Mayors, for example the last one was with the Flag Mayor Jairo Colaneri, who commissions and/or helps in the accommodation of the students.

The origin of the students is very varied, being from different provinces, for example: Entre Ríos, Chubut, Buenos Aires, La Pampa, etc.
