The coach from Santander is the new coach of Unión Magdalena, a squad he will coach for the third time, in addition to having had another experience in the ‘banana cyclone’ as a physical trainer.
The 71-year-old helmsman was received very cordially by the club’s fans, there was no shortage of photos and videos. At the end of them, Pinto Afanador had the first words about him as the new coach of the Unión, whose main objective is to achieve promotion.
‘Emotional and it is a challenge that I am going to take on with all my strength and with all my desire, with all my dedication. I come to a house that I know, with old soul friends, and therefore, I am happy. I think that returning… I have returned three and four times, it has been 40 years of my life where we have been in this club and we hope that this opportunity, with more experience, years and knowledge, we will seek the best for a club, which needs above all , to be in the first category,” he said in a talk with the club’s official media.
Next, the former coach of the Costa Rica, Honduras and Colombia National Team spoke about the game that he wants to bring to Unión Magdalena for the Primera B II-2024 Tournament.
