The coach from Santander is the new coach of Unión Magdalena, a squad he will coach for the third time, in addition to having had another experience in the ‘banana cyclone’ as a physical trainer.

I think that returning… I have returned three and four times, it has been 40 years of my life where we have been in this club and we hope that this opportunity, with more experience, years and knowledge, we will seek the best for a club, which needs above all , to be in the first category,” he said in a talk with the club’s official media.

Next, the former coach of the Costa Rica, Honduras and Colombia National Team spoke about the game that he wants to bring to Unión Magdalena for the Primera B II-2024 Tournament.

To be a competitive and high-level team, God grant that we can work calmly, that we give it a touch of football and that we seek to ensure classification,” he continued.

Finally, ‘profess’ Pinto did not hesitate to affirm that the mission of him and his entire coaching staff is to take the ‘banana cyclone’ back to the Colombian League, to the first division.

“All of us, the players and the coaching staff, commit to giving our best, with feeling, affection and with everything, we have to take this team to the First Division,” concluded Jorge Luis Pinto.
