Given the complaint through the Rapid Response Labor Mechanism of the Treaty between Mexico, the United States and Canada (T-MEC), for alleged acts committed by the company Impro Industries, against its workers, the State Government, through the Secretariat of Labor and Social Security (STPS) will review the mechanisms and omissions to comply with the requests of the United States Department of Labor (DOL).

The head of the agency, Néstor Eduardo Garza Álvarez, announced that a visit will be made to the company installed in San Luis Potosí, to collaborate in the investigations by the labor attachés for Mexico of the DOL, who will validate or discard the allegations made. the Workers’ Union League, through its legal representative Pablo Francisco Hernández.

He explained that in the event that the complaint is not dismissed, the State Government will coordinate with the Government of Mexico and the United States, to prepare a reparation agreement, which guarantees the restitution of the alleged violated rights and the non-repetition of the practices.

The complaint arose from the alleged omissions that the company had in the salary review, after the union, representing the workers, presented a proposal for a salary increase for negotiation; However, the Mexican Workers Union League points out that Impro Industries simulated the consultation act to validate the salary increase.
