The GAULA of the National Police of the Department of Putumayo, in coordination with the different modalities of the Police service, carried out a situational command in the park of the notary office of the municipality of Mocoa, aimed at the community in general and commercial establishments, making known the campaign Don’t let them fool you! Together we prevent extortion, cut the connection to extortion, hang up and dial 165.
Likewise, the different types of extortion crime were discussed, as well as security and self-protection recommendations to avoid being a victim of this scourge. The slogan “I don’t pay, I report!” and the QR code were also disseminated.
In this way, the aim is to invite citizens to report any criminal act related to Kidnapping or Extortion, whether in person, virtually (Adnunciar platform), and/or through the national toll-free number 165. ‘I don’t pay, I complaint’.
