Given the continuous flight cancellation toward Valledupar by the airline Aviancawithout providing any clear and justified explanation, the Inter-Union Committee of the Department of Ceaseexpressed his concern about the repercussions what this situation has on connectivity, in the economic development and tourism in the region.

The president of CIDCHernán Felipe Araujo Ariza, indicated that the lack of reliable and constant air service makes it very difficult for Valledupar to be an attractive destination for both businessmen as for tourists. “We demand that Avianca publicly expose the reasons background that has led to the repeated cancellation of flights towards Valledupar.
